1/12 Scale Victorian London Town Miniature Dolls House Home Delivery before Christmas by Abbey Antiques Start Price GBP 695.00 Current Price GBP 695.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, November 13, 2008 End Time Sunday, November 23, 2008 Location Cathedral City of Hereford See more about '1/12 Scale Victorian London Town Miniature Dolls House' Description 1/12 Scale Victorian London Town Miniature Dolls House Home Delivery before Christmas by Abbey Antiques Click here to see additional pictures Description:This is a fabulous 1/12th scale model of a large London town house.  The house is a scale model of "No. 121 Home Park Road, Wimbledon, London, SW19".  A beautiful Victorian town house, with a conservatory to the rear, the model having beautifully hand-made copies of the windows and interiors, with hand crafted bricks and roof tiles, floorboards and fittings.  The house comes complete with its own table upon wooden castors.  The house having bay windows, roof terrace finished inside and out to a high specification.  The house is wired for electric lighting, which is all in working order.  The house is about three-quarters completed (see photos), the verandas on the front of the house are missing over the bay windows and the rear of the house is unfinished.  The house is largely unglazed, but there are some spare parts and fittings including some sheets of perspex.  The house comes complete with some old plans, not necessarily to scale, with spare fittings such as wallpaper, Tiffany design light shades to the hall and landing, balustraded staircase etc.  The roof of the house is removable for access, the whole front of the house opens as does the whole of the back of the rear.Date:The house dates from the late 20th Century. Condition:The house is in need of completion, having some very minor areas of damage where one or two bricks need replacing, otherwise a wonderful and impressive project.
