She comes to me direct from the original owner who remembers going to the local toy store with her allowance money and purchasing her. She told me she was 11 years old when she purchased the doll and was almost too old to play with dolls by that time. Barbie is in EXCELLENT condition with only a few things to note. Please note that the lips have faded a bit and have some areas where the color has rubbed off. Her pretty blonde hair still retains the original ponytail top wrap, however, the bottom of the ponytail has lost its hard curl and needs a redo, and her feet have slight stains on them from the shoes. Finally, one of the metal cylinders in her foot has slid up into the foot and does not slightly protrude the way the other one does (you should be able to see it in one of the pictures). She comes with her original swimsuit, her sunglasses, her black shoes with holes in the ball of each foot to accomodate the pronged stand, her original stand with prongs, and her hoop earrings. She DOES NOT have her original box. Her nail polish is bright red and appears to be totally intact as does her toenail polish. She has faded to a beautiful cream color and is not that chalky white color that some of the early Barbies fade to. There are no stains (except as noted on her feet) or any other flaws (except those noted above) that I am able to find on her.
