Description
This listing is for a 30" big beautiful Tete Jumeau made from a Virginia LaVorgna mold. She is on a FB230S composition body. The doll itself is 30 inches tall but please allow 33 inch clearance if you would be placing the doll in a cabinet because of the stand and the heighth of the hat. Her painting is wonderful with beautiful depth to the eyebrows and excellant lip shading just like the old Jumeau's.  The costume was created by Pam Willits. She is wearing a beautiful gold and teal jacket and pleated skirt. It has teal piping around the jacket edges. It also has teal silk rosettes and bows. She has a cream colored cotton  slip and drawers with cotton lace. Handmade brown leather shoes and cream colored crocheted stockings complete the outfit. The wooden doll stand is included. Her teal colored hand knit beaded purse is also included. Layaways will be accecpted for this doll. Terms are $300.00 down and the balance due in 90 days. After signing up for a porcelain doll class advertised in the local newspaper in 1978, Connie was just going to make that one doll. Now, 29 years and several thousand dolls later, Connie is still making dolls, teaching classes and seminars, and exhibiting at many doll shows across the country. Even after all these years the excitement of finishing a new sample doll made from a new mold purchase is just as exhilarating as ever. She teaches many two and three day seminars throughout the year in her newly remodeled shop, classroom and dollroom.  Connie has been awarded Master of Dollmaking, Grand Master of Dollmaking and 1997 "Millie" winner plus various top awards throughout the country at numerous competitions.
