To say I was overjoyed to get the opportunity to reborn this absolutely amazing and realistic Asian baby girl prototype, is an understatement! Lotus is exquisite from the tip of her head down to her ten beautiful toes! I have given Lotus the delicate olive tones of a lovely Asian baby and she also has a really beautiful soft head of the finest, softest brown/black hair that suits her to perfection. Some babies I find very difficult to part with and this little girl is one of those babies. She is incredibly realistic and her little face glows with life and beauty. For those new to reborning, I am a highly experienced professional reborner and have been reborning for six years now being one of the first few ever reborners in Europe. My babies are sold all around the world to many delighted 'Mums'. This has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to improving my techniques continually and I am very proud of my achievements and totally dedicated to this art. She has a beautiful soft, doe suede body that really is gorgeously cuddly and really beautifully sculpted plump 3/4 arms and full legs. I have used a lovely soft doe suede body and her legs have been directly inserted into this body. She can wear just a nappy or very short clothes and look exquisitely realistic. These legs are swivelled at the hip into position. As always, with Adrie's babies, this baby is beautifully proportioned and exquisitely sculpted. Little Lotus has been painstakingly coloured with Genesis paints in many layers to create the wonderful depth and translucency of real baby skin. I studied photos of Asian babies very hard to help me achieve the perfect skin tone for Lotus. Her soft skin is smoother and shows less capillaries and mottling than a Caucasian baby with soft olive undertones. This colouring will never fade or be rubbed off and Lotus will look as fresh and lovely as she is now for many years to come. I have given her the perfect colouring to compliment her gorgeous hair. I am really proud of my colouring techniques which allow the beautiful delicate translucency of a baby's skin to shine through and glow with life. Lotus has the loveliest authentic colouring and is amazingly realistic and adorable! Lotus has veining and skin detail all over her realistic little head. I have then micro rooted the finest hair in a gorgeous natural brown/black colour and sealed the inside of her head with waterproof glue so that her lovely baby fine head can be carefully washed like a real baby. This hair is exceptionally fine and exquisitely soft and shiny. I have used a very fine needle and still given Lotus a very full head of hair like most Asian babies. It bounces with health and looks amazing! I have shown photos of her hair brushed and dry so you can see what she really looks like and it behaves in the most natural way with no frizziness. Whichever way you style her hair, she looks wonderful. I have given Lotus a properly directionally rooted crown so that her hair behaves completely naturally and she always looks like a real baby even when her hair is ruffled. In this photo I have dampened her hair slightly to enable you to see the fine rooting. Her nail beds have been carefully detailed with delicate half moons and a slightly satin finish like real baby fingernails. Lotus has special highest quality sparkling 'Asian' deepest brown/black eyes that suit her so perfectly. I have opened her nose and backed with felt for extra depth. This beautiful baby has touches of moisture in just the right places to look just like a living baby. Lotus also has a sweet magnetic pacifier and a magnetic hair decoration. I can remove any magnets upon request if her new Mum would prefer not to have them.
