VERY RARE LE 150 ROSE DEWITT TITANIC DOLL FAO SCHWARZ Limited #144 Robert Tonner 18" Doll 3 Outfits & Trunk Start Price USD 915.00 Current Price USD 915.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, October 30, 2008 End Time Saturday, November 29, 2008 Location Naples, Florida See more about 'VERY RARE LE 150 ROSE DEWITT TITANIC DOLL FAO SCHWARZ' Description monkeygirlfriend Store VERY RARE LE 150 ROSE DEWITT TITANIC DOLL FAO SCHWARZ Extremely rare Limited Edition - Titanic - Rose  DeWitt  Bukater doll, clothes, accessories, and trunk.  From 1998 by Robert Tonner - available exclusively from FAO Schwarz.  Limited edition of only 150 sets, this one is numbered 144.  Certificate of Authenticity included.  This auction includes doll trunk, Rose DeWitt Bukater doll, three outfits, and accessories for each outfit.  The outfits include:  The boarding outfit which includes skirt, blouse, jacket, gloves, stockings, shoes, straw hat, umbrella, hair clips, and earrings. The nightgown which includes the gold nightgown, lace robe with intricate silk ribbon  flowers, lacy slippers, stockings, white gloves, mirror and hair pin- HIGH QUALITY- this outfit also includes the famous blue heart diamond - "heart of the ocean" that Rose wears in the movie.The third outfit is the beaded dinner dress that she ultimately wears in her evening dancing with Jack.  This outfit includes rhinestone earrings, stockings, shoes, necklace, and heavily rhinestones hair piece (please see photographs).  There are also three clothes hangers included for the dresses to be hung in the trunk and two pairs of panties (one black and one white).  The trunk is 22 inches high, 10 inches wide, and 6 inches deep on each side, and the doll is 18 inches tall.  This doll has only been handled maybe 5-10 times.  I purchased this for my daughter, but she did not "play" with it.  The condition is very good with very small wear spots on the outside of the trunk, a couple of scuff marks on inside from the doll's shoes, a very small tear in the paper on the drawer with slight missing ink.  The condition of the doll is near mint, the condition of the clothes and accessories are mint - however, the hat is made of straw and is painted dark purple, but some of the natural straw color shows through the paint which was intentional and is not damage due to wear or handling.  We believe the doll is hard vinyl.  We do not honestly believe anything is missing - please see all photographs to see what is included * The original selling price was $1,200.  This set has always been in a smoke-free environment and stored in my daughter's closet all this time.  The certificate is mint.  This set would be an excellent addition to a serious Titanic or doll collector.  As a bonus, we are throwing in three 8 x 10 glossy photographs (one close up of Kate Winslet as Rose wearing the "heart of the ocean" necklace, one of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio as Rose and Jack dancing in the steerage, and one of Rose and Jack embracing (which were purchased over the Internet) - and a sealed in its original packaging (although there is a crack in the case) sound track CD called "Back to Titanic" which includes "My Heart Will Go On" with movie dialogue.  Just a little note about myself:  I am a Christian and like to send out a prayer in packages.
