(my opinion only).   I WILL LEAVE IT TO YOU TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING SPECIFIC OR FOR MORE PICTURES.   NO REPROS HERE!!  WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS GIFT THIS WOULD MAKE FOR A NEW COLLECTOR TO GET STARTED!!!! DOLLS:  THESE DOLLS HAVE BEEN PLAYED WITH BUT WERE NOT ABUSED!!  EACH OF THEM NEED A MILD CLEANING, ESPECIALLY THEIR LEGS.   None of the dolls have ever had neck splits, they all have all of their fingers and toes.  Each has 85%-100% nail polish and all but one of them have 80%-100% of their toe polish.  None of the dolls have (or has ever had) green ear disease except for the ponytail which does have small green at each ear which I feel like can be removed as the areas are so small and could almost be covered by a pair of pearl stud earrings.  ALL OF THESE DOLLS HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL FACE PAINT WHICH IS MOSTLY ALL THERE (see pics).  NONE OF THESE DOLLS HAVE HAD A HAIRCUT AND THERE ARE NO MISSING PLUGS. BOTH the titian and blond Midge dolls have beautiful, thick hair in the original set.  FASHION QUEEN has no rubs to her hair.  BUBBLES all have thick hair w/no missing plugs or cuts.  Each could use a combing.  #5 OR #6 PONYTAIL (I think)  has shiny blond hair and curly bangs.  Her original topknot is tight and in place.  The bottom rubberband had broke and someone put a clear rubberband there.  Shouldn't be hard to put ponytail back to original style if you know how to do it and I DON'T HAVE A CLUE HOW TO DO IT.  There is a MISS BARBIE HEAD w/her orange headband.  There are rubs to her painted hair, melt marks around hairline and the right eyebrow has part rubbed off.  Eyes open and shut perfectly AND THE RUBBER RING THAT IS USED TO ATTACH THE HEAD TO A BODY IS STILL INSIDE THE HEAD OVER 50 VINTAGE OUTFITS (some not complete) which are in wonderful vintage condition for the most part.  A lot off these have never been played with.  I will describe below any item that is not in wonderful vintage condition!!!    50-60 pairs of shoes, ALL JAPAN!  Heels and shoes are without splits, bent heels, etc.   MANY ACCESSORIES (if you need close ups of the shoes and accessories, email me and I will send pics.  I could only put 12 pics on.  Some outfits were not photographed due to limited space. Of the 7 gowns or party wear, the only one with real issues is the wedding dress which has some small worn spots on the front, has had a lot more play wear than any other item in this lot.  The veil is all there but has come apart and needs to be repairs. White dress w/pink belt, light blue sheath dress with bow and 2 or 3 white items, swimsuits and a couple more pieces need a light wash. The blue wool sleeveless sweater has a hole.  The matching cardigan has several holes.  When I was dressing the dolls I looked at every zipper and snap and snaps are all there (may need resewn) and zippers all work.     I SAW 4-5 SMALL SEAM SEPARATIONS WHICH I COULD EVEN REPAIR BUT WOULDN'T DO A GOOD JOB SO I WILL LEAVE THAT TO SOMEONE ELSE.   OVERALL,  I am impressed with all of the items in this lot because as a whole, they are wonderful.  STILL ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. There are 2 cases which are not part of the auction but are being included.  Black Ken and Barbie case and tan Skipper and Barbie case.  They have the usual splits and are a litte dirty but would clean up fine. THE  OWNERS OF THESE ITEMS HAD NO CLUE HOW TO COME UP WITH A STARTING PRICE.   I told the owners that they had to give me a price and here is how they came up with it.  50 vintage outfits and shoes (all Japan) x $25 per outfit = $1,250.  There are 7 dolls at $40 each = $280, for a total of $1530.00.  There are many little items...baby sitter and the dog bone, etc which are just an added bonus.   $25 for most of these outfits which include the excellent Japan shoes is really a good buy.  These 7 dolls at $40 each are a bargain, too.   HOWEVER, NO REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE REFUSED AND I AM STARTING THE BIN FOR $999.99. PLEASE, PLEASE ask all questions BEFORE bidding as I could have easily overlooked something!!!!!!!!!!!  THANKS!!!
