They are in brand new condition and are ready for the retail shelves. There are a total of 21 cases each containing 24 dolls for a total of 504 dolls. Each doll is packaged individually and has a retail price of $19.95 for a total just over $10,000. The dolls are approximately 9" tall and the packaging is 12 3/4" tall, 6" wide and 3 3/4" deep with a 1 1/4" hang tab. Each doll fits perfectly inside a Priority Mail shoebox and weighs less then 1 pound, making them easy and inexpensive to ship as single dolls. The case measures 26" long, 16" wide, 20" high and weighs 18 pounds. This lot can be picked up locally in Media PA (Click Here for a Google Map) or alternatively the cases can be shipped for about $30 each to the west coast or on two pallets by truck. There are eight Dandle dolls in the series and the auction is for four different ones. The lot consist of the following quantities of dolls. 13 Cases - Tansey (312 dolls) 2 Cases - Laney (48 dolls) 4 Cases - Roxy (96 dolls) 3 Cases - Cici (72 dolls) We are selling this lot for the Untours Foundation  who provides low-interest loans to projects that create jobs, build low-income housing, or promote Fair Trade. Loans are provided to individuals and organizations that have little or no collateral and therefore are not eligible for financing from traditional sources. The foundation is funded by the profits from Untours, a unique travel company offering European vacations and by individual donations from Untourists. In 2000, the foundation invested $400,000 in Little Souls International (LSI), an offshoot of the famous doll company, Little Souls. LSI produced dolls for children and created jobs in Sri Lanka with “livable” wages. Profits from LSI’s early success were returned to the Sri Lankan workers. Little Souls was managing its offshoot, LSI, when a fire in its Bridgeport, PA, location severely crippled both companies. None of the LSI dolls were in the fire, but most of the LSI records were destroyed. LSI limped along after that and was closed in 2005. Little Souls closed in 2006. The foundation took over the remaining LSI doll stock and hopes to recoup $50,000 of its original investment from the sale of the dolls. The proceeds from the doll sales are returned to the foundation’s loan pool. Our handling fee is based on the size of the item, the size of the box required and the amount of packing materials needed to safely deliver your item to you. Handling fees are also used to cover labor costs associated with picking, packing and shipping your item.
