He is 12" tall, c. 1905, with a working side squeaker and a blank button in ear. Imagine that!! He is completely original. For a teddy of c.103, he is quite the fellow. He has light beige mohair, boot button eyes, brown horizontal nose stitching and brown mouth stitching, all intact. His paw pads are beige felt with some minor soiling and a tiny hole in each of his paw pads. He has four claws on each paw. His right hind paw is missing one claw. His mohair gives good overall coverage, though there are some areas of thinning-- on his muzzle, underneath his arms and sides, on the backs of his legs, on his back, his tush, under his hump and under his left ear. Actually I am making it sound way worse than it is, as he has about 90% of his mohair which is soft and sweet smelling. He is mostly kapok and a bit of wood wool stuffed. On the top of his left arm is a wrinkle, and there is a small repair on the wrist. he has a beguiling somewhat worried expression on his dear little face. He is a great rarity and would certainly be a worthy addition to anyones collection. This re-list is a No Reserve auction. I try my best to describe in great detail.
